Code of Conduct for sales of Timelinx products and services.

Operations and services offered by Timelinx to the public, our partners and our corporate clients are executed within a very specific framework of standards and ethics. Our decisions are guided by economics without compromising our integrity. Through research and prudent planning, we seek to minimise risk and maintain a selective, conservative and knowledgeable approach to our business.

Our Independent Retail Marketers are also committed to the highest possible standards and practices within our industry, which has resulted in the enviable reputation we are building. We have established the following code of conduct to ensure that the consumer’s rights are respected and that there is integrity and fairness in all sales of our products:

Independent Retail Marketers appointed by Timelinx must:-

  • 1.1 At all times comply with all applicable laws, rules, regulations and codes of practice imposed by statute common law or its equivalent in all countries in which they operate their commercial business.
  • 1.2 At all times fulfil / obtain any licensing requirements that may be applicable in all countries in which they operate their commercial business.
  • 1.3 Commit to providing the consumer with a high quality presentation that is well structured, clear, factual and complete.
  • 1.4 Commit to be fair, honest, courteous and professional, sensitive to the consumer’s needs, and dedicated to providing customer satisfaction.
  • 1.5 Use only the official product Purchase Contracts, which have been presented to the relevant government bodies to ensure their compliance with consumer rights and European law.
  • 1.6 Sign recognition of, and adherence to, any agreement or undertaking made between the Timelinx Group of Companies and any government body or trade association, which directly affects the marketing and sale of Timelinx Products and services.
  • 1.7 Provide the client with any and all relevant documentation such as the Annexes to the Contract and the Rules of Membership.
  • 1.8 Sign the Contract with the client on behalf of the product and provide the client with an original copy of the product Membership Service Contract and its Annexes.
  • 1.9 Carry out any steps for the registration of the client – or any third party designated by the client - as a Member of the product within a period of 5 days from the receipt of the initial payment made by the client.
  • 1.10 Give the client time to go through the contract point by point with a person who has not been involved in the sales process.
  • 1.10.1 Whenever clients have been solicited to attend a presentation through off premises methods, it shall be made clear that:- (a) The offer relates to a Holiday Club membership, that will save the consumer time and money on their future holidays and that the products DO NOT OFFER any type of timeshare or division of property or rights to any specific property. (b) Any incentive being offered to attend the presentation does not obligate the consumer to enter into any contract or purchase anything.
  • 1.11 Always abide by “The Timelinx Way”.
